Human cloning is one of the most topical debates. Should we be allowed to clone humans? The reasons behind wanting to be able to reproduce ourselves in this way are unclear and badly motivated, but what about being able to regenerate organs for our own use during our lives? The moral implications become less clear when no specific suffering is involved, but how can we control the purposes to which this technology is put.
